Subject: Women's Hoops update

I guess this a little bit of old news but the women's team played well in the loss Tuesday to Bucknell who earlier in the season played a 12 point game against Penn State.

Shontrese Smith played the best game that I have ever seen her play with 14 points 4 steals 4 rebounds a 4-4 shooting from the line. The amazing thing was that most if not all of her steals came in the 2nd half after she had picked up her 4th foul. Man she had a lot of 4's in the boxscore!

Bucknell impressed me as a very solid team and one that would likely be a top contender in the MAAC.

Of the freshman, Jackie Valdares in my opinion had the best game although she sat much of the 2nd half.

Let's wish the Hounds well tonight at Marist
