Subject: the shaking up of the starting lineup

As LCHOUNDS or others will tell you, I have, this entire season, said that for us to win, our best five have to be on the floor. While I still dont' know if we have anyone who can play PG, and our center position is by committee, the other four right now are definitely:

Lucious Jordan - can shoot and slash with anyone in the MAAC, will become better if others can prove they can score on a regular basis.

Bobby Bossman - can spot up and fire away. Eyewitness at game yesterday (who will be stopping by to offer his thoughts) feels that Bossman will be a Reimold-type player, but most likely never the caliber Reimold would have been.

Bernard Allen - excellent rebounder who should be able to score like Darren Phillip, directly off of offensive rebounds. Can have a feast in the MAAC where no one boards well.

Now comes the hard part. The other two positions on the floor are filled by guys that we don't know what they are capable of. In my scheme, and since the MAAC doesn't matter if you have a real center or not, I start Donovan Thomas at the power forward, and let Allen shift up to the 'center' position.

As for the point guard, not sure why Bell got benched. Not only did he go from starting to the bench, but he only played four minutes! Hinds had five turnovers of his own, but perhaps is more of a natural PG than Bell. And not only that - maybe Hinds is just the better defender.

Any thoughts?

-Anthony
