Great win. UMBC shot 28% from the field. Nice to see us playing defense. We don't appear to be a team that can outscore anyone, so playing defense and limiting how much the other guys score is very important. Looks like that happened tonight.

The Sun story is very interesting: Hicks shook up the lineup (unfortunately they also mention his 12-50 record at Loyola. Ouch!) Looks like it worked. Sullivan's comment:
"That's as hard as we've been played against in a couple of years," UMBC coach Tom Sullivan said after Loyola's most lop-sided win since February 1999. "In no uncertain terms, they kicked the hell out of us."

I am interested to hear any reports from people there. Meanwhile here is the Sun story:
