Subject: Women beat UMBC

Briefly, the women looked very good last night...they also played well LOL

Seriously, other than the first 8-10 minutes of the 2nd half where we got into an offensive funk we played very well. Shontrese had 5 assists that has to be close to a career high for her. Mitchell hit back to back 3's that broke UMBC's back in the 2nd half. On offense we did a great job of reversing the ball which led to plenty of open jumpers and on defense we only gave up one backdoor basket to a Princeton style team. I saw UMBC play Canisius a few weeks ago and they scored lots of points on the backdoor play...of course Canisius is not really known for their defense.

Basically, we looked very well prepared.
