First of all, Winnie, Good luck with this new site. I am sorry the experience over at Abuzz was what it was, but...

In direct response to your question, though...

...for certain things happen that are not easy to explain. You can certainly consider them "miracles" if you choose--but that is all you are doing--CONSIDERING them miracles.

The correct answer to your question "Is this a miracle or is it merely coincidence?" is...

...I do not know--and more than likely, neither do you.

That, as you know, is the agnostic position.

We simply are not privileged to KNOW the answers to some questions at this time. It may be that science will answer them in the future--or it may be that a God will come an answer them unambiguously for us.

But at the moment, all we can do is to guess.

Some people, for instance, guess that the Bible explains the mysteries of existence. Some that a combination of the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Some that the Koran.

But all seem to be guessing--although, I am guessing about that.

It may be that some people KNOW. But each time I ask someone who claims to KNOW how he/she knows--the responses are simply not persuasive.
