Potter trilled as his owner finally came back in and flopped back on the bed. He promptly settled on the headboard above her to keep an eye on her.

W'menel had told her to stay put but she didn't want to be down in the Healer's Rooms to be ogled because she was sick.

-A new Headwoman is here. Jelonna is her name.
Shetanth commented blandly but sidled up to her bed again with the same pink eyes of concren as when Willmina had left.
-I told Adirath and Lerath to tell their riders that you are now here.

Willmina reached up to again scratch her dragon's eye ridges.

'Shards, but I've never felt like this.'

-You have seldom been sick and we have many new weyrlings now. Much more people than before.

True. They had usually been loners. Even at Telgar where they were secondary gold to Yasmine and Furinath. They never had much contact with people unless it was business.
Here, they were the upper echelon but still in contact with a great deal of this Weyr's inhabitants.

Willmina shut her eyes a moment to try and ease the pain that came with seeing light.
She knew somebody would come soon.
