The bible talks many times in the new testament about "salvation by grace". If we were saved by works then maybe we could lose our salvation but since we are saved by the grace of God it is impossible to lose our salvation! I know sin can destroy a persons life...I see it everyday destroying the life of a person I am very close to. I find myself always wanting so badly to do whats "right" but then right there I turn and do the opposite. I mean my sin is there but God's grace and mercy is there too...
