With all the newbies in the band, especially in grade IV (Damien, Jack R, Tara, Tom P, Brendan), it's important to get your feet wet. As long as the players in the band are getting better as individuals, the band will progress. Don't let the score sheets dictate how you feel about the performance. For those of you who played Gr V last year, you will remember that some of the performances we felt we didn't play too well, and still finished quite well. There have been plenty of other times where we felt we played well and the judges didn't. Just keep working at your playing and good things will happen.
