.:: Claire stared at Julian momentarily, and to her great, great surprise, she opened her mouth but nothing came out. Instead she snorted. This was not like encounters with Slytherin and Gryffindor, this was arguing with someone who could actually make valid points, and, to her dismay, actually offend her. The light brown eyes traveled over his face for some time, as if trying to find some flaw beyond the exterior, however, it was very hard for her. As if her abilities to do so had lessened since tragedy. She really was lost on what to do at this point. She ran her fingers through her dapple hair and finally said, "Well then, perhaps we got off on the wrong foot. Perhaps we start over, and next time, I'll shoot at the interior?" she asked her tone was crisp but not sarcastic.

For some reason she had lost the will to argue, to keep it ongoing. It wasn't a distraction, it was more pain and stress she wasn't willing to ahndle. Claire use to think she was a strong person, this tragedy had proven her wrong. She had broken down into so many pieces, there wasn't much keeping her from falling apart in public these days.
