Cory, you want to adopt a dog for breeding purposes. NEVER,NEVER,EVER breed a shelter dog for several reasons
1. You don't know the dog's background or if genetic defects run in her lines
2. There are enough puppies needing homes in the world, without you adding to the population
3. People that buy dogs are looking for papered purebreds
4. She might have temperment problems you don't know about
5. If you alter the dog's you will prevent them from getting health problems
6. Breeding, if done properly is a huge expense that even the sale of the puppies doesn't pay for.
These are the reasons why you should never breed a rescue dog. If you want to breed, get a purebred, papered and health certified dog. Thanx, Jenn
