I wish I could say there was a more simple solution to this problem. If it was just the dogs she was being aggressive towards (which is natural for Pits) then you would just separate the dogs, but now that she has snapped at you and your husband you are running out of options. First, try taking her to a vet and making sure none of this is being caused by some medical problem(s) that you can't see. An inner ear infection can cause aggression problems such as this, I've seen it happen. Once any medical problems are ruled out, try a behaviorist who can evaluate her and maybe find the root of the problem or may be able to give you further advice on how to handle this. Sadly, she may have just come from very poor breeding, which all the love and training in the world can't cure. Evaluate your current situation at home: are there any drastic changes that have occured? Are all the dogs spayed/neutered?

Unfortunately if you can't find anything to be the cause of this aggression, you will have to put her down. The breed club and trainer are right, you don't want something tragic to happen before deciding to put her down. The last thing this breed needs is another negative news story. Keep her put up when you have visitors and be careful when you take her out in public. This is not typical Pit Bull behavior so don't let anyone tell you otherwise. She is the exception, not the rule. I wish the best for you and the dog.
