I am i the only one in this fading republic besides maybe Jesse, cause ive talked to him about it, that remembers that show 'The Adventures of Pete and Pete' that came on Nickelodeon all the time?

The Adventures of Pete & Pete chronicles the adventures of two brothers (both named Pete), their friends and family, and the town they live in. The adventures are by no means normal and border on the surreal.

Another show that use to frequent the Nickelodeon network was 'Salute Your Shorts', that depicted summer camp life centered around a bunch of miscreants trying to overthrow the mighty camp counsler 'UG'. Supposedly The longhaired redhead deliquent known as Budnick actually came to one of our shows but i cant verify that for sure, Im sure Max will back me up seeing i got that info from him...

And what ever happened to 'Hey Dude' or 'Welcome Freshman' or 'You Cant Do That on Televsion'? All great shows that ive kept burried in my memory for so long now that when i go to pick up the episodes in my head all i truley I remeber is the feeling of my carefree youth and how those TV shows really effected me and how Id love to see One more episode of Pete and Pete.

On the subject of old Shows but off the topic of Nickelodeon Does anyone remeber the movie 'The Neverending Story' I keep asking people if they remember but noone seems to Know what Im talking about...Oh well.....

i think 'The Neverending Story 2' flopped in the box office so they decided to pull the plug completely from the N.E.S. saga, oh well...

That's weird, cause I was thinking about Welcome Freshman the other day. And that episode of Pete and Pete where their friend Ellen worked in the photo shop booth that didn't have a bathroom. They should put these shows on TVland or something. Anybody remember Fifteen?

Fifteen was like a soap opera that took place at a high school. I don't remember much except for a blonde chick named ashley, they all hung out at this place that resembled a bar, and the opening credits involved them passing a basketball around in the hall. It was pretty melodramatic too.

Eric you remember the pete & pete where pete tried to stay awake for 11 days straight? :D. You can't do that on television was wonderful, but I think (even though this wasn't on nickelodeon) beavis and butthead win as my favorite show on tv.
