Subject: Horner should be in Europe

If there was any doubt that Horner deserves to be in Europe at the highest level of cycling, it should be gone after what he did at in the last 25 miles of T-Mobile to bring back a four minute gap to Jason McCartney. He did the lion's share of the work with Ekimov until Eki blew and then with Rubiera until Chechu blew. Horner was making 50-60 second pulls with Eki and Chechu doing about 20 second pulls. He sacrificed himself entirely to set up Dionne for an amazing finish...and he did it because he was the ONLY guy in the race strong enough to do it (including every Euro-Pro there). If he hadn't been pulling, McCartney would have won. And his efforts destroyed the field down to a 12-man group that included only 2 or 3 other domestic pros.

I don't know why CSC or Phonak doesn't pick him up to help their Grand Tour emphases? I know he's old (32), but you can't deny his strength.
