Subject: Floyd Ullrich or Jan Landis?

Floyd, aside from actually being in the leader's jersey, :), reminds me somewhat of Jan Ullrich. Finds himself isolated in the mountains, gets dropped, then manages his deficit and limits his losses. He then can count on gaining time in the time trials, not as much time as Ullrich can gain but some time nonetheless.

Clearly Postal didn't bring a team to the Vuelta capable of imposing its will on the race. But then they've said as much from day one.

I remain convinced that Heras isn't as strong as everyone seems to think he is. He's clawing time here and there but he has more than Landis to worry about.

As others have pointed out, if Landis gains any time at all on Heras on Sierra Nevada, no way will Heras win the Vuelta. Landis might not either; I think Landis wins if he gets stronger as the race progresses, he loses obviously if he gets weaker.

Time also for USPS to sacrifice Beltran in support of Landis.
