Dekker just played the race better than Eki, he gained 3 sec bonus on the Huls (last climb of today) and knew when he won the stage he would gain another 10 sec bonus and would win the race. So did Wauters...a strong Rabo-team (with Kroon and Boven also working their but off...) against a not so strong (not to say weak) Postalteam with only Cruz working hard for Eki (and in the last part of the race Van Heeswijk offering his chances on a stagewin. Zabriskie, De Volder and Michailov were simply not good enough to support Eki in his secondsexiting race-end...

But: it was a nice stage, with hardworking men throughout all the km's between Sittard and Landgraaf...at the 9 places/climbs we did see them, I did take a lot of pics, which will be online a little later...
