Not so BV,
I think you know me well enough by now, to know that I applaud a sense of adventure.

However, there is a point where that becomes foolhardiness. I think that bloke crossed the line. I respect your right to differ, but you must admit, there does not appear to be a lot of planning on his part. Of course, we are both going by newspaper reports. Who knows what the real truth was?

eg. A headline a few years ago. "PASSENGERS FLEE FROM LIGHT AIRCRAFT. Passengers run from light aircraft seconds before it explodes." (Courier Mail many years ago.) They were friends of the family. The real truth was, they crash landed. They then walked nearly the full length of the airport, when they decided to return for their bags. Halfway back, the plane suddenly went bang, and burst into flames.

Who knows......Ralph.
