Subject: Cheney: is he the wolf man? or Dracula?

Dick Cheney, the US vice-president, last night blocked a global deal to provide cheap drugs to poor countries, following intense lobbying of the White House by America's pharmaceutical giants.

Inspired obviously by his sense of humanity Cheney disregarded the lives of millions of 'others' when he sought favour with the firms that supported the Republican Party at last Presidential elections.

Now he has bought their support yet once again the Bush/Cheney team can be assured of going to the polls in two years time with plenty of big bucks in their pockets.

Cheney... the name, even tho spelt not the same, brings to mind the Wolf Man, the Hunchback, creatures of horror.
