From my perspective peoples in PNG were over-loaded by cargoe. When I arrived with family just after that conversation between Yali and Diamond I saw 'kago' everywhere. It's just that PNG people didn't see it as kago. But the toy aeroplane my son was carrying, that was immediately classed by Engan people as kago. The kina shell I espied around the neck of the lapun man was, to me, kago.
