Thank you for your comments. Again, read the silence and let that show you the reaction rather than you deciding whether or not your words would negatively affect PNGeans.

The problem is that in our culture, we know people personally by name. There is pretense of course but in the end you see the person. You talk about creating characters which of course is possible on the internet. However we could never do that at home, we are far too accountable at the end of the day that people see us for who we are not what we pretend to be.

That is why so many mauswara yet people don't put much power into words as they do into deeds.

It would be interesting to see what kind of reaction would you get over in one of those forums for Engans. Do they reply and correspond with you or do they respond with silence?

BV, I like many of your words I just worry that the comments over your style have now managed to destroy people being able to take a look at the substance of your words. People do not get involved in fights that do not concern them and when all of you start fighting we opt out.

The end result is a forum board that is largely expat written. I respect the reasons behind this as you have now explained. The problem is that at the end of the day, another piece of PNG territory has come to be dominated by another culture. Something about that doesn't seem fair.

I appreciate your taking my words in the spirit intended.
