Your point is apt and I respect it.

As Tjampita pointed out on WF, sometimes posts are made to draw others out. But in the main it is to other expats [and we expats KNOW other expats by certain quirks of writing style and things that are said] that we exact our retaliation. That, I'm afraid, is a dreadful feature of our culture.

I think it is apparent that the normal post by normal PNGeans is not derided by characters such as BV [and I will point out that Buffy's vampire is a caricature, a character, often far removed from the real person whop is directing the character, as in a play].

To BV the forum is an exercise yard full of characters who do not post under their real names and we never get to know these real people. To BV they are simply other characters on a forum. There is never intention to insult culturally. Note that BV is quite partial to things Enga. That is because the real me loves Enga.

But when pompous upstarts such as ... start their crap and self congratulations, then the likes of BV Tjampita Ralph et al begin to pounce.

Your post is very well received and may I, the writer behind BV, take this opportunity of thanking you and wishing you every respect.
