Hi Tjampita,
I wasn't refering to the airstrip at Jackons. Its OK. Just Mosbi itself.

How did you manage to land in 18 inch grass, without landing on your back? Or were you flying a taildragger?

If you want an airport that's plain dangerous. Try Telefomin. The old planes could take 10 - 15 minutes to get out of the valley. It would take a fairly powerful modern single, to climb the mountains at one end of the runway, without an 180 degree turn. I'm talking piston engines here, not turboprops.

PNG, must have some of the most challenging flying conditions for light aircraft, to be found anywhere. My last company, would not allow us to fly anywhere in PNG in sigle-engined aircraft. The insurance would not wear it, apparently.

A good landing, is one you can walk away from......Ralph.
