Iam sure your good lovely Country among others finds America to be an aspiration.Let me tell you though Buff,there are many things that happens here that I disprove of.Wide range of disprovals,so I won't go into it.It would take up to much space on this forum.Australia and the States differ in one area:Taking care of their own.What I like about Australia in this matter is:They don't look at a select few people.Here in the US,it gripes my ass to see young,healthy,capable people with or without children being given aid,when there are elderly people that may be in poor health,unable to work that can't get jack shit worth of help,maybe 10.00 a month food stamps,Medicaide that pays for ONLY 3 prescriptions per month when they make take 10-20.It irritates me if a person makes a certain amt of money per year and can't afford decent health insurance.My step-mother that has worked like a dog all her life has not one lick of medical insurance.Can get no assistance in obtaining help as she falls between the cracks.Several years ago,I was between jobs and had just spent 3 weeks in the hospital where I almost died from an infection in my spine was told I did not qualify for a medical card because I didn't have any illigitmate children!!About Dubya,you can bet your bottom dollar I DIDNT vote him in,Iam a Yellow Dog Democrat all the way baby!Hell yes he's complicating our world,if he keeps it up we are surely going to be in the shit!!Yes your right about America having decent people,but please remember there are people who would rather shoot you and get it over with than to look at you.Dope,drugs whatever you want to call it is so thick here.Meth labs being busted daily somewhere.Hell its worse than bootlegging ever was!
