Ok, this is more for three classes; rangers, assassins and
thieves. Focus early on hiding. I don't know how many times
this has saved my life. I'll get jumped by something vicious
out in the forest and barely before the last death blow is
carved through my body I get a break and flee. Once I've fled
I'll immidiately try to hide. If you're decent you won't be
found and the baddie will walk off looking for it's next
victim. If you try to run there's a chance that you'll be
just a tad too slow and it'll get ya.

This isn't to say you should walk down the street typing
'hide' and 'sneak' every room you go to. Practice it as
you would practice it in real life. Check out the room next
to you, if it has some people in it try to hide and sneak
in and take note as to if they see you or not. If they
see you then you know you've got to do better next time.

Another thing I notice with some new players is that they
don't know about 'look '. You can look in different
directions. A very useful thing to use.
