I've lately been getting more and more bad experiences from the shops in the game. You don't get a fair price for some merchandice, like tools, jewelry, clothes, and some other things... you only get one coin for it.

If was changed to give bartering more meaning, I'd like it to be changed to what it was before. Bartering relies a lot on common sense too. If a shop sells a tool for one hundred coins, you don't go sell an identical tool for just one coin. A disasterous effect is that people stock things instead of selling them, making valuable items unavailable to other players, unless you meet them in game. (especially merchant tools)

A command to ask what the merchant actually will pay for the item would be good. Placing an item on the desk telling the merchant 'pay whatever you want' doesn't seem very realistic. Asking first what he will pay would sound reasonable, and perhaps from that getting the price higher by bartering.

Also, an old problem; some shopkeepers seem to buy anything, regardless of what kind of store they are running. Bartenders buy armor and weapons, Armourers clothes and tools.

I hope it's not only me encountering these problems.
