So, there I was, minding my own picnicing business, when *Wham!*, my poor PC was drowning. I understand I was at the Water's Edge. However, the move I choose (South in this case) should have brought me back to the bridge. Instead, I was transported to a truly delectable experience - getting to review the waterlogged remains of a platoon of Kaiden centurions.
Now, if that was all, fair is fair - I can assume she slipped and fell, was careless, etc. However, upon struggling back to the Water's Edge, resting, and attempting to move on, our heroine found herself back in the water! This raises several points, upon which clarification would be greatly appreciated.

1) What is the best way to escape being Underwater? This seems a legitimate question, as our characters would be struggling for their lives.

2) More daunting is that I couldn't *see* which way lead me into the water, which of course, IRL, she could have. This was after I'd struggled out of the water the first time, and was back at the Edge. I tried 'looking' in the different directions, and 'peering', but all I got back was 'nothing'. Is there a command I'm missing, or is it simply a very costly trial-and-error scenario? I understand that the Coders probably have about 2,000 other things to get to, but I would submit this as something which erodes the feel of being in a realistic world (being able to see where the water is to avoid getting into it again, not drowning).

3) Actually, when I saw all the previous unfortunates (30 (!) longswords), I couldn't stop laughing! The mighty Kaiden, laid low by an unfortunate misstep. :)

4) Finally, I'm assuming there is a swim skill?

On the plus side, I wasn't thirsty any more...

Blessed Be.
