I agree that the new system works well, and is sustainable,
but it seems as though there is simply a shortage of raw currency
in general. Money that is "absorbed" by the bank when
a character dies aught to be put to some use (... or
perhaps already is...?), and the bank itself should probably be
directly owned by an existing or new "noble" entity,
whether kavka or nadu, or some kind of political
clan (clan emperor?). The cash then makes its way into circulation
again, rather than simply being tossed in a vault somewhere.
Then again, like I said, some system may already be
at work here. I dunno. What I do know is, at some point
resources for kaiden militia armor needs to
evaporate. armor reclaimation programs could
be instituted, and all of that (stupid stupid) bronze
armour lying all over the place may have some
kind of monetary AND RP value. I guess I
see that as the biggest flaw, right now. No
one seems to care about it very much, which is
really quite ooc. it can't be sold in a
shop, so they just don't care, and nobles
couldn't afford to buy it all back and don't
need to since (it appears that) armour pops with
militia.
I've been slacking lately though, so this entire post may
simply be out of date =)
