Just back from the paradise.

The situation is, as I understand it, that the police have presented the management with a denunciar for excessive noise from the entertainment and they have lost the licence.
Also when the management changed the name from the Columbus bar to Murphys Law they didnt change the name on the licence, so they have had to take the name off the bar.

Nobody seems to know whether or not they will get the licence back at all.

Needless to say the place was like a cemetry.

Fearnot though the management have come up with a plan to clawback loss of revenue - they have put the prices up yet again and sacked all but two of the bar staff.

at paradise for 2 weks in feb.
my understanding is that they wanted to turn Murphys into a restaurant to encourage the non british clients. apparently murphys is only used by the brits on an evening and discourages integration (heard this from a manager) >>Anybody know if this has been sorted ot.

WOW another great idea from the ?? Management ??
They will cram the place with that one.
Reminds me of the saying could not organise a "P--- -P" in a brewerey.
Maybe its a ruse to get all the weeks owners to convert to points.
