Previous maintenance for two x 2 bed weeks was 2 x �415 = �830
On points 1820 points x �0.28 = �509.60, �320 less so the �1,699 it cost us for 200 extra points and 1000 choice points would, not counting inflation be paid back in about 5 years. Hopefully the points used the right way will give us a few more weeks as well and we will save on RCI transfer fees for other resorts. We have retained ownership of other weeks at other resorts that have far lower maintenance fees but ceded these as they give us high points value and take us into diamond level with over 5,000 points.
