I know its hard We are about in the same position but surly its better to have a small amount than give it back to CLC
just try to see if some genuine person will have it for a small fee dont give it back to them to resell. I know thats what I would do if at all possible. i would rather another member have it than CLC. We bought ours thinking the kids would take it when we are too old to bother traveling but we have 4 and none can afford the growing maintainence charges so not far away we shal be in the sme position.

To be honest Pauline, as much as I'd hate to simply give it back, this time of year for the last couple of years, just before notice of the maintenance fees arrive, has always been one of anxiety. The kids are alot older so the importance of top class accommodation doesn't seem such a high priority now when choosing a holiday. With low cost on rentals we had very good holidays through reliable contacts at a good deal less than fees, exchanges and flight only costs. The response in offering to sell has been pitiful to say the least. My view will be of one less worry for the future.

David

I have to agree. I will also be seriously considering giving it back this year as well. The general costs and feedback about CLC make me think this way.

On a similar note about rentals, RCI have a separate website at http://www.mygovholiday.com/ showing rentals at some timeshare resorts for as little as £159 per week.
