Hi I've just come back from Paradise Club and can confirm that I was also told by a CLC rep trying to get me to buy points that as an owner I would not be placed in a refurbished apartment. They are for CLC points members only and that owners and RCI exchange people will be placed in the apartments that have not been refurbished. I told him that it was disgusting the way we are being treated as second class citizens, we pay our maintainance like CLC people why are we being treated like this ? I asked when my apartment would be done and got no reply. Who the hell would want to invest money with people of this calliber god only knows ????

Just shows the lies reps tell to try to get you to sign up for points, I know of a number of apartments that have been refurbished and that owners are staying in them.
Treat the reps with the contempt they deserve, they are just a bunch of greedy shysters who will say anything so they can get thier hands on thier commission.
You could write to RCI and let them know what you have been told :) that should put the cat amongest the pigions.:)
You could also write to the Club secretary and voice your complaints, and then post his reply on here.

We are owners of B205 week 7 but cannot take up this year due to our school holidays been a week out, as they also were last year. I have been informed, albeit verbally by reception over one year ago, that ours HAS been refurbished though have not had the opportunity to check personally.

we have appartment no j100 we have owned about 6 years. we visited last year as usual and found our appartment refurbished to a high standard. i am a weeks owner, when we get to the resort we ignore all phone calls and knocks at door i dont give them a chance to get near me and so far it seems to work, maybe there is a lot of points members in my appartment throughout the year i dont know
