Yes you can just sign it away, but beware of potential problems if you are a RCI points owner and have included the week(s) in your portfolio.

I'm looking to had it back, but am waiting for guidance from RCI via email about the potential penalties. I was informed by RCI over phone that I needed to give 13 months notice.

It is available via RCI Customer services. Until that is done, you cannot transfer ownership or surrender the week you "own". Hope that helps. Splot
