If RCI have blocked weeks you have paid maintenance on already, I would think they have made a mistake. Blocking weeks that have not had maintenance paid is understandable. Like you, we were in the catch 22 situation regarding maintenance fees being unrealistic given that you could rent a week in a better accomodation for less. Rather than just give our weeks up we succumbed and transferred to CLC points for the minimum price and will now give them a try with a reduction in maintenance fees for two Paradise weeks of some �300+ having traded in the two weeks and ceded our other weeks owned elsewhere.

Hi Fiona, I too have been trying to sell two weeks owned during school summer holidays without any success. I've had no problems in exchanging through RCI for this year. I'm against totally being forced to shell out more cash on any points system and expect that this will be the last year I'll be paying extortionate maintenance fees based on the the quality of rented accommodation now available and the possiblity of further pay-outs on a possible 'members fee' mentioned on a previous posting.
