I wonder if people think this messageboard and live forum stuff is weird?? I myself think it's fascinating to connect with people that I knew up close and personal, going on thirty years ago now, and to find out how their lives have changed. There are certainly some interesting stories out there for sure, and this could be a great way to reconnect and share experiences and support one another in this adventure we call life. Remember, we only get so many turns on this little green planet.

I still say this forum should be for all essex alumni, not just the class of '76. One of our own hometown boys is out there taking risks and running for Lieutenant Governor. I applaud you Brian for standing up for what you believe in and attempting to make a difference. I'd love it if Brian would come and post a message in here..no posers please!

I hope we can get things going again at this site...We have people all over the world I'm sure and most of them are only a click away from our site...so, spread the word!!

Is this correct? www.Dubie2000.org I attempted to e-mail, using this address, and it would not go through.

yes, John, Brian Dubie is running for Lt. governor a second time. He did quite well, but lost to incumbent Doug Racine the first time around and has gained some name recognition since then. I'll look into getting an accurate address for you...

Ok. Thank you Tim. I read Brians question / answer column.
It sounds like he will do the right things. Of course it will not be easy, dealing with all these lobby groups, pushing they're agenda. We have some issues here in San Jose, Calf. Like the energy problem? And the way Governor Grey Davis has handled it? Many of us is saying "Black-out 2001 / Grey-out 2002."

It's starting to get warm here. Maybe the issue will water. We did not get enough rain this past winter. We always have drought problems here. Hope not. My favorite hosre, I rent drinks a lot of it.

Adios.

Hey Essex Alum., don't forget we have our own chat room at this site. Just post a time (be sure to specify a time zone) to gather and see who shows up. I think this could be a great way to organize alumni events, talk about the good old days, and/or just let people know what's happening...Has anyone seen John Morris? He was at one of our live forums, but has not been heard from since!

Tim

If you give advance notice of a week or so you'll get more visitors... This site has been done a while and I only check it once a week or so. I might check it more often if it heats up. Or if I get my d**n yearbook!!

:-)

It still doesn't appear to have heated up here at the ejhs forum, but that may change once we establish a dot com. Joe Ketcham is in the process of setting this up. For $25 (1st year) we will be registered as ejhs76.com, if it's still available; once this is done Helen can notify all the alumni on the list once more and we'll try again to get this site rolling. Currently you can find this site at Google under subject: ejhs76. I still think this could be a great way to plan future events, sell wholesale golf equipment (George McGregor), or perhaps even drum up some votes; where's Brian Dubie?
