it's over three months later and we are barely breathing here at the EJHS Alumni website. Don't know what happened to all the alumni?

Not sure whether to plan for another event this summer or to call it quits?? If anybody out there has any ideas, or feels like voicing an opinion on the matter, please feel free to chime in at any time. Hey Tom Keenen, do you think you'll make it back east this summer? What about Maureen Purrington or Robin Morris, or Victoria over in Hawaii?

Come on people, don't be shy. Time is marching on and this site is beginning to show our age. We've had some people visit recently, so be brave and leave an entry at the guestbook, or maybe even start a post about something Essex related. There must be something new to talk about or something old to reminisce about???

What about the A&W on Pearl Street? Does anybody have any memories about this fine eatery; run by the Deslaurier family as I remember. Bill Raub worked there, as did Bob Gifford, Joe Ketcham and Mal Rich, but I'm guessing some others may have had some memories of this place too, which is now a Jiffy Lube? How about the Robo-wash on Maple Street? or does anyone remember the A&P grocery store on Park Street? I can vaguely remember the wooden floors and shelves of canned goods. I've been out of Essex for almost 30 years, but I have fond memories of growing up there as I'm sure many others have.

I'm sure we could encourage some to write about their experiences and the common link to this place. Maybe we could even get some of the computer savvy to post some pictures of Essex then and now?

Please don't give up on this site. Send money or pictures to the webmaster, leave messages and website links, so that we can spread the word about this little stop on the information super highway...Hey George, where are you??

Okay Tim, message received. As a matter of fact I will be in the northeastern U.S. in the summer, June sometime I think. I will be there with my family who love the area. As my daughters are now in high school, I am hoping they will come with us.
Since the holiday season is upon us, is a monetary gift to support this web site in order ? What is the right amount ?
I really am not able to advocate for a summer get together, since I live on the left coast. But as you all may remember, I always think a party is a good idea !
In case I don't hear from you, I am wishing each and every one of the EJHS alum a happy and healthy holiday season !
Tom
