Subject: I don't know, Moki.....msg
In reply to: Moki's mom 's message, "Will an adult cat hurt a kitten?" on 13:03:58 07/02/00 Sun

I don't know, Moki. The last time we brought a new kitten home, Yoshi (who is a female) pissed and moaned about it for a few days, growled and even sort of attacked. Within a week or two, she was wrestling the kittens and holding them down to groom them. I guess what I would do would be to let Raven get near the kitten and see what she does. Of course, you would need to be close by to intervene if she got too rough. Once she is actually close up and personal with the kitten she might just roughhouse a bit with it. And I think that is a good stamina builder for kittens. And probably teaches them to be 'tough' little kitties!
