Subject: Question for you "regulars"

Jim straight, and Jim McCulloch, I think that you two guys have written the most well informed, useable, and meaningful books/articles on metal detecting for gold that have ever been published, and I have read or own most of the works ever written on the subject. I say this as a fellow who found his first (detector) nugget with a BFO (yeah, current model Garret) machine. I read your forum from time to time, but don't participate because I really have little to add. But at this time, I need your opinion(s). I have not made the move up to the Minelab SD or GP because the areas I've been taking nuggets from for years has a surface to saprolite depth of only 6 to 10 inches (been using a GB2 since they were available), not to mention the investment. My question is--Have you guys got an opinion, and or experience, on the new Minelab Eureka? I would sincerely appreciate any thoughts that the regulars of this forum would care to contribute. Thank you, and good prospecting! Phil
