Dear little Rosie ~ there are those who may never forgive me or quite understand that I did what I needed to do for me. In fact, what I did was to replace the familiarity of my physical surroundings with that which I'd denied to myself for so many years.

I made choices years ago, which, although I didn't realize it then, would come dangerously close to causing me to give up the essence of my own unique being.

Would I have found it had I stayed? Possibly, but I sincerely doubt it. The soul needs freedom to BE. I have found that freedom.

And yes, I am smiling.
