Subject: The Two Churches

A while ago, one of the COC members said that we have to realize that there were now "two churches." I wonder when they utter such things, if they realize that the Book of Mormon speaks of this very thing.

[1 Ne 3:220] And he said unto me, Behold, there are save two churches:
[1 Ne 3:221] The one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the devil;
[1 Ne 3:222] Wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations;

It really is no wonder that the COCers do not advocate this book, as a true history of the ancient American people.
Have you noticed that whenever I have posted these particular scriptures, and also many that are contained in the Bible, all of a sudden I am "beating" the cocers over the head with scripture. Not only that, but certain scriptures which speak plainly about them, are only those writers interpretation of what they thought that God was saying.

My opinion? There have been many men who "thought" that the words that they uttered where the words of God. For their sake, I hope it has only been what they "thought" God said.
