Subject: Ugly Casserole

Ugly Casserole

1 lb. ground chuck
1 onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can Cream of Mushroom or Celery soup
1 can cream style corn
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 Tablespoon butter or margarine
*Buttered bread crumbs

Combine chuck and onion, season with salt and pepper and cook until no pink remains.
Drain well.
Combine with soup, corn, creamed corn and butter.
Pour into an 8x8 baking dish..
Top with buttered bread crumbs and bake in a preheated 350 oven for about 45 minutes until browned and bubbly.

*Combine 1 ˝ -2 cups fresh bread crumbs with 2 Tablespoons melted butter in small frying pan. Sauté, stirring often until crumbs are coated and lightly browned.
