Nearly 700 years ago, the Crusades were ended. The Templar Knights, powerful warrior monks that had faithfully served God and man, were hunted down and killed for false accusations of heresy. Many died, others fled to other regions to escape persecution, and some simply disappeared, never to be seen again. But more mysterious still.. many Templars that had been reported dead by some strange, incurable illness were suddenly walking in the land of the living once more. These resurrected men had terrifying abilities and a thirst for blood -literally- that was unquenchable. The revenants -or vampires, as we would call them- banded together and became strong, and have dispersed throughout the world, building up their own form of government and control, obeying no laws but their own. |
The story begins in a land of magic, wonder, and peril; a land of humanity and of the wild. It was divided into three regions during a time that no one remembers now. The only thing that the inhabitants retain, in fragments of bitter memories, is war and the preparation for it. Azcaran, the humans; Lumanati, creatures of the wild; and Winathun, home of extraordinary or mythological creatures; all three states clashed to generate a nationalistic and racist feud that would last for centuries. Generation after generation, peace was bred out of the beings who lived here; they soon forgot what the absence of blood and loss was like. "Peacetime" became a rumor. The land itself, the three regions referred to under one term, was known simply as the void. Come to a divided world, torn between powers; the Humans, the Wild, and the Myths. Its people, whilst not most technologically advanced, could bring about miracles and weave their spells. Yet one day, a demon stepped forth and brought about a disease and secretly, he fed it to the Mother of Altima. She began to wilt and with the remains of her power, created several worlds that were her children. Her lover, keeper of the worlds, sent about a way to destroy this disease that had made its way upon their planet. Yet once more, his plans were thwarted when those selected by the disease, were proffered santuary by the demon. Fleeing to the world of Caesali, all of the creatures spread out and inhabitated this one world. In his anger, the Mother's lover isolated Caesali and left it to its fate. Little did he know that not all of the creatures had fled to the portal. In one last attempt to cut off all ties to Caesali, her lover destroyed the portal between the worlds and all recognition of the world was wiped from the remembrance of her sibling planet. What will you be. Who will you be. And most importantly, which side will secure your loyalty. Begin a legend, write the tale, and spread the disease. I was told once that the world was changing, but I never knew that I play a major role in it. Some of us will go down in a blaze of glory. Some shall die in vain. Then there are those who shall know love and live a life they dream, the only true pain they knew, that of the membories of those who have past. There is land of thieves, mages, warriors, and leaders. There is a world broken into four great lands; Kinshi, Sagi, Xain, and finally, Quli, each ruling one of the four elements, each guarded by a great beast, and each one consumed by side of the stars. What side shall you chose? And will you be able to live or shall you be one of the fallen?

Wolfsbane Productions presents an unique turn on the Harry Potter role-playing world. A Harry Potter RPG with no canon or book characters. Yes, you heard us right. No Canon. This is to ensure that everyone gets to take place in plots without secretive order meetings or “trio-only plots.” Harry Potter is indeed still very much alive in Wolfsbane since it takes place in 2006. However, he’s 26 years old and married to Ginny Weasley. The Death Eaters are a fear of the past; nearly all were killed in the Great War save Draco Malfoy who lives in shame for what he had done. The side of Dumbledore lost many lives as well including Remus Lupin to Peter Pettigrew. Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade and Knockturn Alley were shut down or destroyed due the many battles that were fought inside of those once filled streets. But enough about the war, you didn’t come here to read about people dying did you? No, you wanted to learn more about Wolfsbane.  Wolfsbane connects the three schools of Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, and Hogwarts together for the TriWizard Tournament. Sound familiar? Unlike the fourth book, the schools will be more interconnected throughout the school year leading up to the event. Students will take field trips to each other’s school, hold formal dances with each other, and even spend a couple weeks in another person’s dormitory or house! Four champions from each school will be chosen to work together to achieve the prize – the cup. One champion will demonstrate bravery beyond all means, one will demonstrate cunning and the willingness to succeed, and one will represent intelligence and the last one but not least will show loyalty that would make King Arthur’s Knights blush. Only seventh years will be allowed to compete. However, there will be several tests during the year to weed out those that the sorting hat feels are not worthy enough to achieve such an honor.  | The kingdom of Besondere is ruled by an apathetic king too busy throwing extravagant parties and tending to the whims of his mistress to care for his citizens. His wife, the Queen, is a kind woman but sheltered and vacuous. She knows nothing of the hardships the people are enduring due to her husband's carelessness. The Pawns, nobles who think like the King, are content with the world as it is. They have money and land, power and fun. Starving peasants and the slowly but steadily growing threats of invading tribes from the North earn hardly a thought from their gilded brains.

 What happens when Perns turns on itself? Over seventeen turns ago a new planetoid appeared in Pern's orbit. At first Pern figured it was harmless and jokingly named it the Blue Star after the planetoid banished by Avias. Pern had become more technologically advanced since that time and believed it was safe from this seemingly benign 'star'. Only Caloiv - a starsmith knew otherwise. He had seen the thread eggs and sought to warn Pern's Weyrs only to be shot down again and again. Caloiv had only one believer - Rulani the Weyrwoman of Telgar and rider of gold Kilanth. Deviants of Fate: Those who do not let destiny guide them, but instead carve their own path in life. Chapter Two. . . Only three deities have been awakened, creating an unbalance in the world. Ares was the first, the God of war. Thantos came second, the God of Death. Athena was the third, the Goddess of Wisdom. The scale was already uneven at this point, but it was finally tipped when a single equine rose into greatness. He was no different from the others, a first only an undistinguishable figure among the gray masses. Yet he did what no other achieved. Through perseverance, he trained till he achieved the status of a God. When this happened, he was granted any title he wished. This horse, Adonis, chose Vengeance. Three out of the four deities awakened were dark, and it tipped the world into chaos. With Death, War, and Vengeance reigning Wisdom was hard pressed to keep them in check. Meanwhile Ares had chosen an apprentice, a young pup who had proven himself as an individual among the many followers. The other Gods and Goddesses, though not yet able to take physical shape grew worried over the current state of affairs. What could be done that might tip things in their favor once more, restoring balance to the shadowed world? Many of the deities offered their own suggestions, but none could agree. Finally, growing annoyed with the other’s endless debate, Zeus, God of the Sky, acted on his own. He created his own children, children of the sky, and sent them down to the lands in hopes that these new creatures would restore the balance. Now the question is, will they? Good. Evil. Neutral. Silverstar was kind and honest. She trained under the command of Twitter, one of the most respected spirits and came to be the leader of Good. Silence was cold and harsh, taking an immediate dislike towards Silverstar. His past contributed to his hatred and Silence was trained under the Evil spirit Riopat. Hope was torn between her loyalties. Silverstar had become a friend, but Silence was her brother. She hated it when Silence challenged their new friend but did not want to oppose him. Shingo, one of the Neutral spirits took her under his care and helped her. So the three grew and learned together. But their conflicts still remained. But the land was already filling with prey, and more wolves would soon come. That leaves all of the wolves with a choice. "Halt, stranger," a feminine voice calls from ahead. "Be warned. For the path upon which you tread leads to a land where none return from." The advice belongs to a lupa, of onyx pelt. Her oculi are penetrating, and their piercing blue gaze lies currently upon none other. Svelte vix does not even stir when another appears from behind her, let alone acknowledge him. A slightly more muscular figure steps out of the shadows, oids mirroring the cerulean ones of the female. Brute's grey fur shines silver in the dim moonlight, causing him to seem like divinity. "She speaks the truth." He speaks in a deep bass, reduced to a barely audible whisper. "If you choose, you may follow us into the realm of which we speak. Or-" he stops abruptly at the sound of thunder, pausing to let it die down. "Or," he continues, "you may stay here in this wasteland forever." "But remember," the femme intervenes, "once you set foot upon the Kingdom Naclose, you swear your loyalties to it. If it falls, so do you. Should you choose to accept this fate, come now." Fatale turns around, and continues down the path. The bruje' accompanies her down the road to their chosen future. The only question now is, does it also lead to yours? |
