hey, cari. uhmmm..........thanks for the chuckle. as for reading democratic humor as it relates to republicans, i can take a joke........honest. the one thing i hate, however, is when one side refuses to even listen to the other side (and i don't care which side we're talking about here!)

i remember when a democrat poster here took on an assumed nic and started blasting the democrats. i was so offended that this guy was saying such horrible, ridiculous things about the democrats that i started to write a response to him and then just trashed it before submitting. stopped reading those posts altogether and later found out who it was posting it and had to laugh with relief that there wasn't some idiot republican out there (yes, i know there are many!) posting such ridiculous comments. thinking i am more sensitive to ridiculous remarks by someone or some group with which i am affiliated than those i am not.

i have mixed emotions on the presidency of clinton. policies? most good, some bad. behavior? hmmmm......most good, but the bad ones were pretty bad. all in all, thinking i'll give him a 7 out of 10 with an added black mark for his handling of the lewinsky affair, but i'll also give a black mark to the republicans for their handling of it as well. (remembering that two negatives certainly don't make a positive.)

ok, enough. i DID enjoy the joke and agree with WE67 that i enjoy hearing it as well! :))
