I suppose that's true. I could _almost_ feel sorry for them. But in my mind a bad Mary Sue brings trouble upon herself. I've got nothing against well written fic, and with any fic the author usually identifies with one of the characters although not usually to the point of Mary Sue-ism, but if people write fic and don't bother to even read it over before posting it...Let alone spell/gramer checking the fic. If they can't be bothered to take some basic care for the work they produce then they really shouldn't whine about people stating opinions in reviews.

Ok...I don't know how much sense that made, but I've been trying to figure out how many cows it would take to heat a house all winter for the last three hours and I needed a break.

eheheheh...ummm to be perfectly honest...I didn't realize that it was spelled wrong either...I was just questioning if the Mary Sues can be considered defenseless.
Now truthfully I will admit that there are some good LotR fics on FF.net but in general, about 99% of the posting in the LotR section should not have been inflicted on the public.

Ok...now back to burning cows...
