i am also against torture. i think that we should bring people who break the law to some kind of physciatric facility to be evaluated. we need to learn what makes these people tick. we need to have something positive come of this, not avoid the problem by dealing out harsh punishment. that's not our job to play god. instead of locking them up in a cold prison, we shoudl try to learn their motivation to kill and from that help prevent other killings. society in general is more important than one person suffering for what they did wrong. we should make prisons comfortable, cleaner, more productive and better places to be. that's just what i believe. i don't think that anyone should be killed OR tortured for any reason.
