Unlike Sega, if a machine fails for Nintendo they don't kill it instantly, they keep it going atleast until (and beyond) their next big thing comes out. When the SNES came out they still had NES games coming out, when the N64 game out they still had a few SNES games going, The GC is coming out next month and there's still N64 games available, Now that Game Boy Advanced is out there is still new Gameboy color games coming out. The only system that Sega has had that has lived a long life is the Genesis, but only because they were delusional that they could upgrade the system with add ons.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to some great stuff from Nintendo. I didn't bother buying an N64 since I didn't think the graphics were all that great, but after watching some footage of the GC I must say I'm really impressed. I think the games I want most are Smash Bros. Metroid, and Soul Calibur 2. Here's to hoping that they get some good 2D fighters in their line-up too like Capcom vs. SNK 3 or whatever. Maybe Agetec could get some SNK games brought on. (though I doubt it.) And mini disks, that's going to be interesting.
