Subject: it's official: there are approximately a dozen good english speaking voice actors...

urgh... Watched the premiere of Gundam 0080(was that Zeta?) on it's Midnight Run Exclusive showing tonight. (dare I say, does this mean uncut/uncensored and all that?)

The mecha look great, awesome, incredible, as good as in 08th MS Team. Gotta love Zeon designs, I hope we get toys of those blue Gogg types from the intro, and some flying green Zaku/Dom types.
The humans are SO 80S ANIME!!! It's almost painful. Oh well, mecha look great.

BUT WHY OH WHY DO THEY HAVE TO USE SO MANY OF THE SAME VOICE ACTORS FOR EVERY SINGLE IMPORTED ANIME SHOW?!!!

Just in this episode: the main kid is Jim from Outlaw Star, his friend with the fed badge is Izzy from Digimon, and his dad is Spike from Bebop. Who's also the toonami robot, AND the human bad guy on Digimon Tamers, which also features Davis as Takato, Arukenimon as Renamon(albeit much less annoying), Kari as Takato's teacher, and Yolei as one of the mib? techs.

And so on and so forth. I guess they're all pretty good, but still, it's mildly annoying to recognize so many voices on so many shows. At least Takato manages to sound different from Davis: sort like how Jesse and Misty are the same actress.

Speaking of Digimon Tamers, WOW, I hate they way Rapidmon looks on the show. Gargomon was my favorite in the movie, but Guilmon's just so cool, he beats everyone so far. And Gargomon is pretty well useless in a fight. Oh well...
what the frel does momentai? or whatever they keep saying mean? they were all saying it after they beat that one digimon while saving the little girl a couple weeks back, then again this week a bunch of times... argh!
