Subject: End Of Evangelion...blagh.

Ok, first a little background. With Manga's constant delays and probable ruination of the video quality of EoE, I decided to use my other resources to obtain a copy.

Watched it last night.

Ugh.

That was so not worth the wait, I'm glad that I didn't wait until march to shell out two hard earned twenties for non-returnable copies of that.

It was long, graphically violent and needlessly sexually suggestive. It left nothing to the imagination or to be discussed.

It didn't feel like evangelion at all, it just felt like your run of the mill hyper-violent guns'n'tits'n'giant robots'n'blood'n'blood'n'more blood anime. It was like they stripped all the philosophy and subtext from it to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

Guys, if you can find this fansubbed somwhere, give it a look before you spend your cash, seriously. I'm glad I did, because if I'd have paid for this, I would have felt more cheated than I already do.

On the more positive note, Pioneer's releasing the card captor movie, which I am looking forward to immensely!
