It's starting to become a bad cliche. "Oh, I buy toys coz they bring out the kid in me". I did a research paper on toys recently and I've had collectors say that to me even though they were buying things like McF figures and 12" Military paraphenalia. For pete's sake, come up with something more sensible to say instead of falling into the Peter Pan stereotype.

I buy a wide variety of toys and figures, and I certainly don't feel childish. It's not like my whoel collection's made up of Teletubbies. For me personally, I lump TF, SW, anime and even modern day movies like MIB, Matrix and what have you into the same category. I buy the figures coz they're great renditions of entertainment icons, not because they make me feel like a kid again. It's coz I'm a fan, not a big loser with post-childhood traumas that I want to recapture.
