Subject: Monsters Inc run!! (RE: Sean & Kawa)

Funny thing happened yesterday. I was out running a few errands when i decided to pop by one department store to browse around.

I found a huge stack of the new Disney Magical collection on the floor (yet to be pegged, I guess) including the Monsters Inc stuff! Woooo! I immediately got a Boo, and was thinking about getting a Sulley, but I decided to look around first to see if there were more bargains to be had first, since I wasn't really interested in one other than having something to display next to Boo.

Walked around, but didn't see anything much (Butt Ugly Martians down from $12 to $7...Hasbro's learning). So I went back to get Sulley....but the whole stack of stuff had disappeared!! Some store assistant had probably wheeled the whole thing off somewhere. So I went looking for them. And ran into...

A whole shelf full of the Monsters Inc stuff on clearance! Now this was excellent, coz for the past 2 weeks stores had been clearing stuff at $4 a fig but I kept missing the Mike 3 pack, which was the one I needed. 5 of em left this time, along with plenty of the rest of the line too. So I picked up a Mike, an electronic screamer and a Celia bendy plush (Probably the only Celia "figure" I'll ever find) plus the Boo for a total of only $15! Woooo!

Never did find the Disney figs again, tho.

Oh yeah, the card on Boo lists the 3 Kingdom Hearts kids as the next series, followed by Ursula. I saw Ursula, but I went thru the whole case and there was no sign of the KH figures at all. Feh.
