Subject: Can it be? It is! MORE new anime madness!

Picked up Metropolis at Waltermart today. About 10 bucks cheaper than at the usual anime sources.

Overall, I liked it. The character designs are rather cutesy and cartoony and not quite the way I usually like them but it works here. The story seemed to have the usual "don't let technology get out of control" message we've seen in various movies before.

It's a two DVD set.... the first has the movie, and the second is a tiny little dvd with the usual extras on it. It's just a baby! Ain't it cute? Haven't actually watched the extra stuff yet. I'm a bit afraid to put that tiny little dvd in my ps2.

So, I liked it and I'll definately watch it again at some point. But I wouldn't necessarily say your collection is incomplete without it though.
