Subject: My "eye"perience...
In reply to: Gyo 's message, "Oh no... it makes me more succeptible to eye infections and cataracts! Wheee!" on 01:13:44 04/07/02 Sun

a few times actually. But there were two seriuos cases. Once i had a speck of dust or sand of some sort stuck in my eye. Took quite awhile to get it out cuz at that time i was still really small. Too afraid to open my eye to put on any eye drops to clean it out even my eye is in great pain.

The second time was when i was putting in my left eye's contact lens. I inserted two in my left eye. The first one when i've inserted it i felt nothing. I thought it droped on the the floor and started to search for it. Found nothing though. Thought its stuck in somewhere i can't see so i open up another and insert it into the left eye. Then when i was in the car on my way to somewhere with my brother (thank God i'm not driving), i felt this agonizing pain in my left eye. I had to take out the contact lens, but it still hurts. Turns out that the first one didn't dropped at all, its stuck above my eye ball. Can barely see it sticking out. Can't get it out, but eventually i manage to "squeeze" it out from my eye. Ow! Then i asked my brother to drive me to the eye clinic to check and see if there's any cut or bruises. Luckily none.

Gyo, i think from now on you will have to take good care of that eye of yours that got hurt. Like you say, after it has been hurt, it makes your more succesitible to eye infections. Buy one of those good eye and ear drops which prevents infection. I'll have to check the name later, cuz its 4:56 am over here and the eye drops' at my parents' bedroom's bathroom. Or maybe you already have something similar to it. Anyway, its best to remember the name and buy it from the pharmacy and stock up or something.
